Beat The Heat Dark And Stormy Slushy

The original Dark and Stormy hails from Bermuda but we're giving it the frozen treatment and turning it into a refreshing grown-up slushy. You're sure to get a brain freeze with this drink so sip slowly!

INGREDIENTS

  • 12 ounces ginger beer (preferably Gosling’s)

  • 6 ounces dark rum (preferably Gosling’s Black Seal)

  • 2 ounces fresh lime juice

  • Lime wedges (for serving)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Combine ginger beer, rum, and lime juice in a blender and freeze 3–12 hours (mixture will be partially frozen).

  2. Add 2 cups ice to mixture and blend until thick and smooth. Divide among glasses and garnish with lime wedges.
